The WV East Vipers were established in January 2016. We started with only 16 players and have grown to over 60 players with both middle school and high school teams.  The Viper’s ‘home’ rink is the Hagerstown Ice & Sports Complex located in Hagerstown, MD and is one of 6 teams in our state. 

The initial idea for the team was purely to allow the kids that played in the Berkeley Parks and Rec Inline Hockey located at Oatesdale Park to be able to play together on the same team as they entered high school.  The team has done that and more to allow more kids from all income levels to participate in this awesome sport.   The Vipers strive to keep hockey affordable and comparable to the thousands of dollars per season for travel hockey. 

Our season runs from last August through early March and ends with both MS and HS States held at the WesBanco Coliseum in Wheeling, WV.
